Second shootout in two months keeps Gurgaon on edge

Gurgaon: The Millenium City witnessed another shootout on Wednesday with one person sustaining injuries.

As per reports, the shootout took place between a group of men in a car and the police.

Four people were taken into custody following the shootout that happened in Gurgaon's Sector 10.

ACP (crime) Rajesh Kumar later told a news channel that the occupants of the car were wanted criminals.

The police team fired in retaliation after the car occupants opened fire, Kumar added.

This is the second major shooting incident in Gurgaon in the past two months.

A shootout between two gangs in the heart of Gurgaon in July had left an auto driver dead and two others seriously injured.
