New Delhi: Heavy showers for most parts of the day created havoc on Delhi-NCR roads on Friday evening. DND, RTR flyover towards airport and outer ring road through South Extension were amongst the worst affected.
While the showers brought down maximum temperature in the city to around the 28-degree celsius mark, the joy was shortlived for evening commuters. Many took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

Water-logging and breakdown were two primary reasons which brought traffic to a near-standstill across major traffic junctions. Several arterial roads too were reportedly choked with overflowing traffic.
