New Delhi: Extending Christmas greetings to the people of the country, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that Christians have been living peacefully in India for centuries.
Singh took to Twitter and wrote, “The message of Christmas is peace, harmony and justice. Christians have been living peacefully in this country for many centuries.”
He further added, “Indian culture is inclusive and accommodative in nature and character. We believe in upholding these values and traditions of our culture.”
Participated in Christmas Celebrations organised by Christmas Catholic Bishop's Conference of India in New Delhi today.
