Mumbai: In a major setback to Bollywood singer Mika Singh, a case of molestation has been registered against him on Tuesday.
The case was filed against the singer on the basis of allegations levelled by a designer.
The designer has complained against Mika at the Versova Police Station.
According to Mumbai Police sources, the accused and the victim were known to each other, as reported by ANI.
Details of the matter
The victim went to Mika Singh's residence this morning for some work.
There was some dispute between them and allegedly some altercation took place between the accused and the victim.
What are the charges against Mika?
The police registered a case against Mika under Sections 354 ( molestation), 323 (beating) and 504 (intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
The police are currently investigating the allegations of the designer and the next course of action will be decided after primary investigation.
