New Delhi: Porn star turned Bollywod actress Sunny Leone has been trying to shed her glam doll image and desires to be taken seriously as an actress. Hence, to fulfill her wish, Sunny’s new mentor – Ekta Kapoor has been guiding her and guess what, Ekta suggested her mentee to bring her spiritual side forward for an image makeover. Recently Sunny was seen performing the kakad aarti at the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in South Mumbai before starting to shoot her new film ‘Ragini MMS 2’ to be produced under Ekta Kapoor’s banner. The honour of performing this aarti is reserved only for the VIPs. A source told to The Delhi Age newspaper that it was Ekta’s idea as she is an ardent devotee of the temple’s deity and believes in taking his blessing before beginning new projects. So it was like hitting two birds with one stone – taking the deity’s blessings and shedding Sunny’s sexy image. A smart step, indeed!
