Demi Moore hospitalised ‘for substance abuse’

Washington: Demi Moore was hospitalised on Monday night, and is reportedly being treated for substance abuse.

According to TMZ.com, paramedics responded to a 911 call placed at 10:45pm PT and after assessing Moore’s condition, transported her from her home in Los Angeles to a local hospital. Sources told the website that Moore - who split from her husband, Ashton Kutcher, last year - has been moved to a facility to seek treatment for substance abuse. “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,” Fox News quoted the actress’ rep as saying. “She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends,” the rep added.
