Akshay Kumar posts selfie with Suniel Shetty, Internet asks, Where is Babu Bhaiyaa?

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty have worked together in dozens of films. The two were once considered to be the best action jodi of Bollywood. Despite appearing in several films all these years, their pairing still seems to be fresh and lively. 

On Thursday, the 'Khiladi' actor shared a photo with Suniel Shetty on Twitter and captioned it, "This is not a throwback but takes me back to so many. As always was lovely catching up with one of my oldest friend and co-star @SunielVShetty today."

The candid shot brought back memories from their cult classic film 'Hera Pheri' which also featured Paresh Rawal as 'Babu Bhaiyaa', a character that continues to rule hearts of millions. 

Responding to Akshay's post, Suniel retweeted the photo with a funny shout-out to their character from the film 'Hera Pheri' writing, "Aye Raaaaajjjuuuu! Always such a pleasure to see you!!! So happy to be smiling together forever! @akshaykumar."

Suniel retweeted another photo featuring Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar alongside him and wrote, "Waqt Hamara Tha, Waqt Hamara Hai, Waqt Hamara Rahega! Some bonds are not time bound!"

In no time, the post went viral on the social media with fans flocking to the photo to leave comments. While some users demanded the duo to plan the next installment of 'Hera Pheri', there were few who questioned the absence of their favourite character 'Babu Bhaiyaa' from the comedy flick, that released back in the year 2000.

Even actor Arjun Kapoor couldn't stop himself asking where was the third piece, Paresh Rawal in the photo. "Raju aur shyam !!! But where’s Babu bhaiya ???," Arjun wrote in a tweet.

The duo has been paired together in several hit projects like 'Mohra', 'Hera Pheri', 'Dhadkan', 'Awara Pagal Deewana', 'Deewane Hue Paagal', 'Thank You' and 'Phir Hera Pheri'. 

While Sunil was last seen in 'A Gentleman', Akshay is currently shooting for 'Kesari' and 'Gold'.
