Karan Johar’s words for Kajol will restore your faith in friendship

Mumbai: Kajol and Karan Johar’s age-old friendship went kaput last year ahead of the release of Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Dharma Productions’ Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Shivaay, which was directed by Devgn had clashed with Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at the Box Office.

The two had apparently cut all communications and had even refrained from talking about each other. Moreover, Karan, in one of the chapters in his biography had some unpleasant things to say about his friendship with Kajol that had gone sour. But the two are back as friends and how.

It all reportedly started when Kajol had invited Karan for her birthday bash this year. And then, Kajol had ‘liked’ a photograph of Karan’s twins on Instagram. This was followed by a ‘like’ on Kajol’s Instagram post by Karan. And recently, they even displayed a slice of their eternal bond on Twitter by recalling a memorable instance from the long past.

Kajol and Johar fans will be happy to see them back as BFF and the latter admitted to the fact that the actress will always be his friend.

Johar, who is debuting as a radio jockey on a private radio station as a "love guru", said on Tuesday that Kajol is one of his best friends and will continue to be the same even in future.

At the launch of the show, when asked if he had plans to bring back once his best friend Kajol, with whom he recently fell apart, Karan said: "Kajol is and will remain as a special part of my life."
