Tamil actor Jai arrested for driving under influence

New Delhi: Tamil star Jai Sampath on Thursday was reportedly arrested for driving a car under the influence of alcohol. It is being said that the popular star even banged his car into the divider of Adyar flyover.

If the online buzz is to be believed, he was later released on bail. According to The Hindu report, it all happened when he was returning home from a party with some of his friends. The report further states that Jai has now been booked under Sections 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act and 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
