New Delhi: England have called pacer Chris Jordan to replace injured fast bowler Steven Finn in the ongoing tour of UAE against Pakistan.
It comes as a big blow for the in-form Finn as he has a left foot bone stress injury which requires a period of off-loading. The bowler will also miss the ODI series later on. Finn took four for 16 in England’s warm-up match against Pakistan A in Sharjah before being diagnosed with the injury.
The pacer has spent the past three days on crutches.
ECB tweeted on Wednesday that Finn is out of the tour with Jordan being drafted in as his replacement in both Tests and ODIs.
