What is RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content. Using an RSS aggregator, one can view and use data feeds from various sources, such as zeenews.com, including headlines, summaries, links to full stories.

RSS allows regular users of the web to stay informed by retrieving the latest content from various sites they are interested in. One saves time by not needing to visit each site individually.

About RSS Aggregators
RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) download and display RSS feeds. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download. Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programmes, others let one add RSS feeds to a Web page.

To Use the Service

1. Copy the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the topic that interests you.
2. Paste the URL into your reader.

For Yahoo Users
1. Click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" button.
2. Follow the instructions for adding the feed to your My Yahoo! page.

Ownership/Attribution
Zee News Limited retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all Zee News logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. One must provide attribution to the appropriate website in connection with the use of the feeds.
 

Right to Discontinue Feeds
Zee News reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require one to cease displaying, distributing or using it.
