Queen of pop Madonna all set to launch shoe range

Madonna, who started young fashion line Material Girl with her daughter, is now branching out into footwear with a range of dance-inspired shoes.

London: Pop diva Madonna is set to launch a shoe range this autumn with Aldo.

The 53-year-old, who started young fashion line Material Girl with her daughter Lourdes in 2010, is now branching out into footwear with a range of dance-inspired shoes, Contactmusic reported. "Her fingers are really on this brand. The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can`t live without. "You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective," said Arianne Phillips, Madonna`s long-time stylist. The range, which is aimed at women aged 27 to 50, will eventually be expanded to include fragrances, clothes, accessories and lingerie. PTI
