Xiaomi Redmi 3 to be launched on January 12

Chinese handset-maker Xiomi has confirmed about its upcoming launch Redmi 3 on January 12 (Tuesday).

New Delhi: Chinese handset-maker Xiaomi has confirmed about its upcoming launch Redmi 3 on January 12 (Tuesday).

A teaser has also been released by the company on the micro blogging site of China Weibo.

The teaser image confirms that the new launch will feature 5 inch display size and textured back panel along with a metal unibody chassis.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 sports a 5 inch screen size with 720x1280 pixels resolution.

The device is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version.

The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM with 6GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

This upcoming launch of Xiaomi will feature 13 megapixel rear shutter with 5 megapixel front camera for selfie and is likely to be available in silver colour option.
