New Delhi: In a bid to take on video-sharing website YouTube, social networking giant Facebook is planning a new feature called "Slideshow" which will include music from Warner Music Group to help users create "soundtrack options".
The company earlier initiated talks with music labels about licensing a limited number of songs that user can upload, like summer vacation videos or birthday parties.
The feature will serve as happy news for music labels at a time when they are downhearted with the volume of unlicensed user-generated content at YouTube.
The feature will be first launched in Australia, the report added.
