Raipur: In a major breakthrough, the security forces killed at least six hardcore home-grown Naxal rebels in a fierce encounter in Chhattisgarh.
According to ANI, the operation took place in Narayanpur's Abujmarh.
As part of their crackdown against the Naxals, the security forces are carrying out ''Operation Prahar 2'' in the Maoist-hit areas across the state.
A large cache of weapons was also recovered from the Naxals killed by the security forces.
Several camps belonging to the Naxals were also destroyed in the process.
