Anil and Tina Ambani host party in honour of Steven Spielberg

Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg is in India and will be meeting Amitabh Bachchan and other film personalities from Indian film industry at a party hosted by businessman Anil and Tina Ambani in Mumbai at their residence on Monday.

Mumbai: Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Spielberg is in India and will be meeting Amitabh Bachchan and other film personalities from Indian film industry at a party hosted by businessman Anil and Tina Ambani in Mumbai tonight at their residence.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was in Bhopal for Prakash Jha`s `Satyagraha`, flew down to Mumbai to meet the ace filmmaker. "... Meeting with Steven Spielberg tomorrow and to welcome him to the country and be in conversation with him amongst a relevant audience that connects itself with the the fraternity...," Bachchan posted on his blog last night. The 66-year-old Hollywood veteran, behind genre-defying classics like ‘Jaws’, ‘E.T.’, ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘The Color Purple’, ‘Empire of the Sun’, "Schindler`s List’, ‘Munich’ and ‘Lincoln’ in his 40 year old career, is accompanied by his wife Kate Capshaw. Some of the big names from Bollywood that are attending tonight`s party are Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Abhishek Kapoor, Habib Faisal, Ram Gopal Varma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan.
