Anupam Kher's Twitter family now has 7 million members

New Delhi: With seven million followers on Twitter, Anupam Kher has joined the list of celebrities who have a huge fan base on the social media.

Expressing his delight, the 61-year-old actor shared his picture on his Twitter handle, writing, "I reach the magical 7 Million mark on Twitter. Thanks to all my fans, friends, followers & critics. Love u all.:)"

A-listers Amitabh Bachchan has 21.9 million Twitter followers, Salman Khan has 17.9 million followers while perfectionist Aamir Khan has 17.7 million fans on Twitter.

Anupam is known internationally for his work in films like 'Bend It Like Beckham,' 'Bride and Prejudice, 'Speedy Singhs', his appearance on the hit TV show 'ER, and more recently in 'The Mistress of Spices'.

In 2014, the actor starred in the British film 'Shongram', a fictional romantic drama based around the factual and historical events of the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
