Bollywood’s Big 5 - What did they do in 2015?

Ever wondered why these superstars in Bollywood are called 'the big five'? And who really are these stars that we are referring to. These are none other than the Khan trio of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan besides action star Akshay Kumar and intense-looking Ajay Devgn.

Yes! They are the big find of the 90s, and still hodl the power to draw the audiences to theatres—all thanks to their star power. Every year many strugglers try their luck in showbiz and very few succeed in reaching the top.

They took over the reins from the legendary Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. And for more than two long decades, continued to rule our hearts with their innumerable movies.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Sooraj Barjatya's family drama brought back the quintessential Prem back on-screen after a gap of 16 long years. Salman was seen in a double role in the film opposite Sonam Kapoor. The film went on to break many records and went on to cross Rs 400 crore worlwide collections. And yes, the number is still counting, happy people! This Prem really bought some 'Dhan', quite literally!
