New Delhi: It was a tough task, but gutsy actress Priyanka Chopra pulled off legendary boxer Mary Kom's biopic with sheer panache.
Her hard work (portrayal of the World Boxing champion) was praised by all and sundry and stunned the critics too.
`Mary Kom` has won the award for the best popular film providing wholesome entertainment at the 62nd National Film Awards. The awards were given away by President Pranab Mukherjee at a ceremony held in the capital city on May 3.
Although it was Kangana Ranaut who won the Best Actress trophy for `Queen` Piggy Chops is no less happy with the film's win as a whole.
