Robbie Williams` father rejects mansion offer

London: Singer Robbie Williams` father has dismissed offers of a new luxury home from his multi-millionaire son because he`s happy in his rented flat.

Robbie has spent a fortune on lavish homes for himself and his mother Jan but his dad Pete has no desire for a new property. "I`ve been blessed with money and fame but my dad lives in a flat above a hairdresser for 50 pounds a week rent. I`ve told him to get whatever house he wants but he won`t have it - he doesn`t see why he has to move. He`s one of the happiest men I`ve ever met," Robbie, 37, told People newspaper. IANS
