`Happy New Year` goes to Oscar library

New Delhi: Despite mixed response from the critics , Farah Khan's `Happy New Year` has managed to become this year's one of the most top grossing movie. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has broken all records at the Box-Office and has raked in over Rs 350 crore worldwide so far.
As if this wasn't enough a reason for celebration, Farah now has more reasons to jump with joy.
The choreographer-turned-director announced on Twitter that the script of `HNY` has reached the Oscar's library. She also thanked the writers of the movie.

Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has officially selected the screenplay of HNY for its permanent Core Collection, reports suggest.
The scripts in the collection of Oscar library are accessible for research purposes to film students, filmmakers, writers, actors and others from the field of cinema.
Shah Rukh's earlier films like `Devdas and `Chak De! India` were also selected for Oscar Library making `HNY` his third film for this honour.
Written by Farah, Althea Kaushal and Mayur Puri, `Happy New Year` is still running strong at the BO.
Besides SRK, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
