Kahaani 2: Vidya Balan 'wanted' for kidnapping and murder

New Delhi: The success of Sujoy Ghosh's 2012 release 'Kahaani' has set the stakes high for its sequel. The first look of Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani 2' has been unveiled and it looks dayum intriguing. You will be amazed to know that the 38-year-old actress is portraying the role of a fugitive in the movie.

In the recently released promo, a news anchor can be seen informing the viewers about Durga Rani Singh (Vidya's onscreen character). The short clip also tells that she is wanted by the law on the charges of kidnapping and murder.

Vidya is playing the character of a 36-year-old woman who sports a de-glam look.

'Kahaani 2' is jointly produced by Kushal Kantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada and Sujoy Ghosh. The film, which is slated to hit the screens on December 2, also features Arjun Rampal in a key role.
