Nostalgia grips Amitabh Bachchan as 'Deewar' completes 40 years!

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan's iconic film, `Deewar` was a blockbuster and will always remain one of the favourite films of movie buffs.

Today, the Yash Chopra film penned by Salim-Javed duo, has completed forty years and which is why Big B is nostalgic.

Amitabh took to Twitter to thank to Salim-Javed for the brilliant script.

Apart from Big B the movie also starred Shashi Kapoor, Parveen Babi, Neetu Singh, Nirupa Roy, Satyendra Kapoor, Iftekhar and Madan Puri and was released on Jan 21, 1975.

`Deewaar` got the Filmfare Best Movie Award as well as other six Filmfare awards
