London, March 14: Rock band "The Killers" were forced to cancel their show in Amsterdam following a terrorist threat. The rockers were to play at the city`s Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall on March 12 but they had to scrap the gig after police received anonymous threat about a planned explosions at the venue, the Contactmusic reported.
The Dutch police have arrested six men and a woman in the connection with the alleged case and one of them is reportedly a relative of a suspect in the 2004 Madrid train bombings in Spain, the website said.
Amsterdam mayor, Job Cohen said, "It wasn`t a regular bomb warning, but a warning of a planned action aimed at creating casualties in shops."
The show has been rescheduled for May 29.
