Salman and Saif’s loss turns out to be Aamir Khan’s gain

Mumbai: Aamir Khan sure has a knack of picking up the right scripts. The actor, who has been delivering hit after hit for several years now, chose Reema Kagti’s flick after it was rejected by industry bigwigs like Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan. As per reports, Aamir wasn’t the first choice for Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, who thought of approaching other Khans before offering the role to Mr Perfectionist. Confirming the news, a source told a daily, “Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti took their script to Salman Khan first. He turned it down. Well, these two women then went to Saif say rumours. He too rejected it.” However when they approached Aamir with the same, he not only accepted the film but also spoke about the immense Box Office potential the project holds. Obviously Aamir`s understanding of films is better than that of Salman and Saif because he has a better track record in the last 22 years than the two other Khans. Well, looks like Salman and Saif clearly lost this one!
