Ajmer, Oct 19: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today
ruled out immediate arrest of ex-chief minister Prakash Singh Badal
and asserted that any action against him would be taken only after
the receipt of probe-report.

Talking to newspersons at this shrine city in Rajasthan, captain
Amarinder Singh said that several criminal cases including that of
corruption had been registered against Mr Badal.

He alleged that Mr Badal had grabbed ''benami'' land properties
in border districts of desert state adjoining Punjab and an inquiry
had been going on in this respect.

He declared that in the event of Mr Badal's arrest, he would be
put in an ordinary jail instead of keeping him under house arrest.
