All new Toyota Fortuner launched in India at starting price of Rs 25.92 lakh

New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of the second generation Toyota Fortuner for the Indian market on Monday. The car will sell at the starting price of Rs 25.92 lakh.

The SUV has already reach dealerships across the country and bookings for the car have commenced. The carmaker is currently accepting the advance bookings for the new Fortuner at Rs 2 lakhs.

The SUV will come equipped with four-wheel drive (4WD) and two-wheel drive (2WD) options in both manual and automatic gearbox.

While the petrol SUV is expected to deliver a mileage of 12 kmpl, the diesel variant will deliver 14 kmpl.

The new Fortuner will come with the following features:

7 SRS airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brake distribution), vehicle stability control (VSC), brake assist, hill-start assist control (HAC), emergency stop signal (ESS) and downhill assist control (DAC). The SUV will have upmarket interior with a seating capacity of seven and leather wrapped seats, headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED tail-lamps. The cabin will have 

The SUV will come in seven shades– Dark Brown, Super White, Attitude Black, Avant Grade Bronze Metallic, Dark Grey Mica Metallic, Phantom Brown Metallic and Silver Metallic.

The new Toyota Fortuner has been launched with a price tag starting at Rs 25.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The length of the SUV has been increased by 90mm and lighter than the current model.

In terms of dimensions, the new Fortuner measures 4,795mm in length, 1,855mm in width and 1,835mm in height and comes with a wheelbase of 2,750mm.

The 2016 Fortuner model gets bi-xenon LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), electric tailgate and LED tail-lamps.
