Amitabh Bachchan on Kolkata accident reports: 'There has been no accident .. I am well'

New Delhi: There were reports of megastar Amitabh Bachchan having a close escape from a road accident in Kolkata yesterday. 

It was reported that one of the rear wheels of the actor's Mercedes got detached. He, however, was unharmed.

Mr. Bachchan took to Twitter to clarify the incident and said that the reports were incorrect. The accident never took place and the fans can now take a breath of relief.
