LIC shares jump by 6% on Monday after firm reports good net result in Q2

Shares of LIC ended nearly 6 per cent higher on Monday. The firm reported a multi-fold jump in net income in the quarter ended September. The company's market valuation rallied Rs 23,244.85 crore to Rs 4,20,485.85 crore on the BSE.
