After turning heads at Vogue awards, Alia Bhatt flies back to Indore for Kalank

Actress Alia Bhatt looked her stylish best as she made an appearance at the Vogue Women Of The Year Awards 2018 on Saturday night. The Youth Icon Of The Year aced the red carpet in a black semi-sheer Roberto Cavalli dress. She posed on the red carpet with father Mahesh Bhatt and 'Raazi' director Meghna Gulzar.

New Delhi: Actress Alia Bhatt looked her stylish best as she made an appearance at the Vogue Women Of The Year Awards 2018 on Saturday night. The Youth Icon Of The Year aced the red carpet in a black semi-sheer Roberto Cavalli dress. She posed on the red carpet with father Mahesh Bhatt and 'Raazi' director Meghna Gulzar. 

On Sunday, Alia was captured by the shutterbugs at the Kalina airport,  reportedly heading back to Indore to resume the shoot for her upcoming period-drama 'Kalank'. 

Alia, who has been shooting for Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank' has been shuttling between Mumbai and Indore for some time. 

She was spotted in a comfy grey tee which she paired up with denims and white sneakers. She upped the game with a stylish blue bag.

Speaking of the film, 'Kalank' is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. It is scheduled to release on April 19, 2019.

As per reports, Madhuri essays the role of Ishmat, a courtesan while Alia plays her student. The film also stars Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon in special appearances. Sonakshi, who plays a poet in the film, will be paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur while Sanjay Dutt will be seen as Alia's father.

Incidentally, late actress Sridevi was originally signed for the character role played by Madhuri.
