Ek Villain sequel: Kriti Sanon, Sidharth Malhotra to join forces?

New Delhi: Mohit Suri's romantic thriller 'Ek Villain' starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead is most likely to have a sequel. And guess who's the new face joining the venture?

Well, the latest buzz about the venture right now is that actress Kriti Sanon will be on board and replace Shraddha in the sequel. According to Filmfare report, Kriti will be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the film.

Although no official statement has been made by the makers as yet. Kriti was last seen in hit flick 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' which won her many accolades. Meanwhile, Sid's latest release 'Aiyaary' has hit the screens today.

Since the audience is welcoming fresh pairings on-screen, it will be interesting to see Kriti and Sidharth's chemistry in 'Ek Villain' sequel. Also, the original was loved by the fans for its amazing music and thrill element.

Riteish's negative character remains the highlight of 'Ek Villain' and whether he is retained in the sequel or not remains yet another mystery to be solved.

Till the makers announce the lead characters, we can only wonder how the fresh pairing would look on silver screens!
