Simmba trailer: Ranveer Singh in a typical Rohit Shetty potboiler with 'Singham' Ajay Devgn in cameo—Watch

New Delhi: Newlywed Ranveer Singh has been in the news lately for his marriage with Deepika Padukone. The couple dated for about 6 years before tying the knot at the picturesque locales of Lake Como, Italy. They had two wedding ceremonies—Konkani and Sindhi on November 14 and 15 respectively.

On the work front, Ranveer's first film after marriage happens to be 'Simmba'. The much-awaited trailer of the masala potboiler is out and all we can say is that expect to watch a typical Rohit Shetty blockbuster film.

There's one scene towards the end of the trailer where original 'Singham' aka Ajay Devgn makes an appearance and we have to mention, it was that moment which makes you wonder had he been in the lead, the feel would be different—that's his magnetic on-screen persona in that uniform.

Sara Ali Khan plays the female lead but finds little space in the trailer. Ranveer's character goes through a total 360-degree change and we can easily predict what's in the offing.

The movie is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty and Dharma Productions. The film will hit the screens on December 28, 2018. The film is a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster film Temper.
