New Delhi: Akshay Kumar starrer 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' got a decent start at the box office. As per noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the day 1 collections of the social satire are ₹ 13.10 Crores and it is expected to receive a major collection boost on the occasion of Independence Day (Tuesday).

The movie hit the theatres on Friday and is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, it also stars Bhumi Padnekar opposite Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
