Mercedes GLE SUV launched in Chennai, price starts at Rs 59.95 lakh

Chennai: Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz has launched one of the most awaited luxury SUVs – the GLE, in Chennai.

The SUV is launched in the 350 d and the 250 d variants, and owing will be locally produced in India.

The GLE 250 d is priced at Rs 59.95 lakh while the GLE 350 d is priced at Rs 71.14 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai).

The vehicle has 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission with direct select lever, 4matic permanent all-wheel-drive system.

Driver can choose five different modes - comfort, sport, slippery, individual and off-road

For convenience the vechicle comes with memory package, comand online with new generation telematics, parking package with 360°camera, easy pack tailgate, thermotronic (3 zone) climate control and keyless go start/stop.

It has best in class safety assistance features like esp with curve dynamic assist, crosswind assist, brake assistance system, attention assist, active parking assist, pre-safe, 6 airbags.
