Lenovo June 9 event: Moto Z Style, Moto Z Play expected to be launched

Reports are buzzing in the media that Motorola will altogether ditch the Moto X while it is set to unleash its Z series smartphones.

New Delhi: Motorola's parent company Lenovo is all set to kick start its event  Lenovo Tech World at San Francisco in US on Thursday.

Motorola has tweeted:

Media is rife with speculations that Motorola will launch its Z series of smartphones during the event.

Reports are further buzzing in the media that Motorola will altogether ditch the Moto X while it is set to unleash its Z series smartphones –the Moto Z Style and Moto Z Play.

The Lenovo-owned Motorola has been making smartphones in the G and X series over the past few years and they have been tremendously successful, especially the Moto G smartphone series.

According to reports, Lenovo has a trademark application filed at the US Patent and Trademark for the term dated May 17.
