Adele announces her pregnancy to the world

New Delhi: After getting doses of happiness post her overwhelming Grammy Awards win, British singer Adele is all ready to play mommy in real life. An announcement by Adele on her official web page has revealed that she is pregnant with her first baby. She also said that both she and boyfriend Simon Konecki were "over the moon". The cheery mother-to-be wrote, "I`m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me; obviously we`re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx". Adele, 24, has been in a relationship with 36-year-old entrepreneur Konecki since mid 2011, and the couple announced their affair in January this year.
