Mumbai: Bollywood leading ladies teamed up with their friends in the industry to celebrate Karva Chauth. Sridevi took to Twitter to share a beautiful photograph.

In the pic, we can see Sridevi (wife of Boney Kapoor), Sunita Kapoor (wife of Anil Kapoor), Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Bhavana Somaaya, Neelam and Bhavna Panday, Laali Dhawan besides other friends.

For the uninitiated, Karva Chauth falls on Krishna Paksha Chaturthi in the Hindu month of Kartik according to the North Indian calendar and in the month of Ashwin in the south Indian calendar. This year, women observed Karva Chauth vrat on October 8. Dressed in their best fineries, married women in India observe a day long fast on the occasion of Karwa Chauth to pray for the well-being of their husband and break it after sighting the moon at night.
