Taraji P Henson battles food poisoning after Monaco trip

Los Angeles: Actress Taraji P Henson has been hospitalised for food poisoning which she picked up on her trip to Monaco.

The 44-year-old star was in Europe promoting her hit TV drama "Empire" when she fell ill, reported TMZ online.

Henson posted a photo of an IV drip in her arm, shortly after she arrived back in the US, and added an Instagram update writing, "God has a way of saying, 'You're doing too much! Sat down somewhere' (sic).

"I'm listening Father! I am taking several seats! Don't worry you all I'm a tough cookie! HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I am fine! Just need to sat all the way down for a bit. #listentoyourbody."
