‘Krrish 3’ Box Office collections inflated?

New Delhi: Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Krishh 3’ reportedly went on to beat the records of Shah Rukh starrer ‘Chennai Express’ and was the fastest to earn over 200 crores in the Box Office. But recent reports suggest that Roshan may have inflated figures to climb on to the race. According to a DNA report an unnamed trade analyst said that the Roshans’ latest film has even upset the Khan trio as the trade figures given out are inflated and K3 is being touted as the highest domestic Bollywood grosser of all time. It also said that while the figures are correct they are gross figures, not net. The net figure is at Rs183 crore (only in Hindi) and Rs194 all three languages in India till Tuesday. Rakesh Roshan had The Hrithik Roshan – Priyanka Chopra starrer has done well overseas as well as Box Office collection reports from overseas are encouraging. The movie however has slumped this week with the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansal’s “Goliyon ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela’ doing very well. This weekend the Imran-Kareena starrer ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ is scheduled to release followed by Saif Ali Khan – Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Bullet Raja’.
