Why Vidya’s beau doesn’t want her to do ‘Vettai’ remake

Hence UTV’s head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapoor is doing all possible things to not let his ladylove Vidya Balan share screen space with her alleged former beau Shahid Kapoor. Buzz has it that Vidya was being considered for the female lead’s role in the Hindi remake of Tamil super hit film ‘Vettai’ starring Shahid Kapoor. But Kapoor isn’t keen on letting Vidya do the film for he believes that the character isn’t meaty for an actor of her calibre. Vidya, who made a debut in her late twenties, has arguably become the most sought after actresses. But she hasn’t been spared of rumours. Vidya has faced the brunt of being a superstar and her personal life has always been under the scanner. She has been linked to almost all her co-stars right from Sanjay Dutt to John Abraham to Shahid Kapoor.
