Bollywood reaches out to Kashmir flood victims

New Delhi: With the recent sad devastation of the Kashmir floods, many have come in aid of the state.

Indian film fraternity too lent a helping hand for the cause and performed at the concert called “Hum Hain Umeed E Kashmir” in Delhi on October 18 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium.

Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Aamir Khan and writer Chetan Bhagat were present during the show donating to support rehabilitation of those who suffered during the tragic floods in the Kashmir valley and surrounding areas recently.

Singer Neeti Mohan and percussionist Sivamani also lent their talents for the cause. For the special program all 38 channels of Zee joined hands to support this single cause. Celebrities from all walks of life - films, sports, music and television are lending their voice in an appeal for donation towards this noble cause.

Several of the actors also posted on Twitter before the show.
