Amitabh Bachchan wishes Aishwarya-Abhishek a Happy 9th wedding anniversary!

New Delhi: Today is the special day when Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan walked down the aisle nine years back. The Bollywood couple got their most special 'happy wedding anniversary' wish from none other than proud paa Amitabh Bachchan.

Big B took to his official blog to express his thoughts. He wrote: ''As tomorrow dawns, the wedding bells ring of 9 years of togetherness, for Aishwarya and Abhishek .. a day filled with the joy and happiness that not just conforms to the two that bind themselves in matrimony but for us elders too .. a coming together of families, of affection and oneness !

This bond remains with us throughout .. it then flourishes into the next generation that comes along and the next and the next and the next …

Life is perpetual .. it is on going and infinite .. as must life be ..''

The duo have worked together in films like 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke', 'Kuch Naa Kaho', 'Dhoom 2' and 'Guru'. They are parents to a four-year-old daughter Aaradhya.

Abhishek is currently busy filming 'Housefull 3', while Aishwarya will be seen in Omung Kumar's directorial venture 'Sarbjit'.
