Gary Oldman feared for career after losing script

Gary Oldman says he feared his career would be over after he lost his copy of the script for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

London: Actor Gary Oldman says he feared his career would be over after he lost his copy of the script for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
The 54-year-old actor, who reprises his role as Commissioner Gordon in the third of director Christopher Nolan`s Batman films, was terrified the story would be leaked after he lost it in a hotel but eventually found the document under his bed, reported a website. "I was in a panic for 20 minutes. I thought my career had ended, that I`d be thrown out of showbiz. There was paranoia around it as we live in an age with the internet and blogs, so it`s understandable," Oldman said. The veteran actor also said that he couldn`t blame anyone else if the script, which was coloured red to prevent it being photocopied, had gone missing as they were all individually numbered for each cast member.
