I respect Anushka Sharma, says Ranveer Singh

New Delhi: Bollywood's bundle of energy Ranveer Singh, is a ladies man, and no one is complaining about it. The fact that this young brigade actor has been linked to many of his co-stars, it somewhere shows how much of a charmer, he is. In a recent chat show, Ranveer revealed that actress Anushka Sharma is somebody whom he respects a lot.

The 'Ram-Leela' actor said that Anushka was his first co-star, and helped him a lot during the shoot of their film 'Band Baaja Baraat'. Ranveer was completely raw at that time, and it was the leading lady who helped him get used to the intricacies of being an actor, reportedly.

He also admitted that it's very unfortunate that Anushka is misunderstood, as he feels that the 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' actress never minces words and speaks straight from her heart. Interestingly, the two were once rumoured to be dating each other.

Anushka and Ranveer will be seen together in Zoya Akhtar's next titled 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.
