Recipe: Raw Mango Drink

This traditional mango drink is a perfect protection against sunstroke.

Summer does everything to suppress the appetite. The heat sucks the body fluids and as a consequence we long for something cool, refreshing and with an invigorating zing. This traditional mango drink, also known as `Jhoriya` and `Aam panna` is a perfect protection against sunstroke. Ingredients:
Raw mango 1 Jeera powder 1tbsp Rock salt ½ tbsp Mint leaves 20-25 Ginger ½ inch piece Small piece of green chilly Small lump of jaggery to taste Salt as per taste Three glasses of chilled water Procedure: Peel raw mangoes and cut it into small pieces. Add jeera powder, mint leaves, salt, ginger, chilly and jaggery. Grind finely in the mixer. Transfer it to a bowl and add three glasses of chilled water into it. Mix the entire composition well and filter it. Drink before moving out in sun.
