Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' gets release clearance in the Middle East

'Airlift' has got a release clearance in the Middle East.

New Delhi: It's a good news for Akshay Kumar's fans in United Arab Emirates as his upcoming flick 'Airlift' has got a release clearance.

The 48-year-old actor took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Delighted 2 inform fans of # Airlift in UAE that our film has been cleared for release. Its releasing across 70 screens in d Middle East today."

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the upcoming thriller is set in 1990 when Kuwait was invaded by Iraq.

The flick also stars Nimrat Kaur in the key role.
