Revealed: Look who will play daughters to Aamir Khan in ‘Dangal’

Mumbai: ‘Dangal’, a film based on wrestler Mahavir Poghat, has been making headlines eve since its inception, because none other than Aamir Khan will be essaying the character.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ will revolve round the lives of a father and his two daughters. There have been reports suggesting that Kangana Ranaut, Akshara Haasan and Taapsee Pannu are being considered for the roles.

However, what we have learnt from our sources is that ‘Dum Lagake Haisha’ girl Bhumi Pednekar and Sonakshi Sinha have been roped in to play the parts of the daughters.

Aamir is apparently impressed with Bhumi’s performance in her debut film. Sonakshi, who had stunned one and all with her intense performance in ‘Lootera’, made the makers of ‘Dangal’ cast her.

Sona, who is currently busy with AR Murugadoss’s ‘Akira’ will start shooting for ‘Dangal’ after finishing her current project.

Aamir’s salt-n-pepper look was much appreciated by his fans and it will be interesting to see the chemistry Mr. Perfectionist will share with his onscreen daughters.
