New Delhi: Bollywood hunk Salman Khan could not have asked for a better Eid this time as his latest offer ' Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has scooped 27.25 crores on day 1 at the domestic box-office.

Riding on his 'evergreen' success, the 49-year-old actor hosted a press conference in India's showbiz capital Mumbai along with the movie helmer Kabir Khan and discussed how it was working with child actress Harshaali Malhotra in the action-drama flick.

Speaking at the event, Kabir first shed light on how Harshaali was roped-in for the project saying that the casting of Harshaali was very essential for the movie and several auditions were conducted for the character in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Shimla, Kashmir and even contacted people in Kabul and Tehran.

Whilst interacting with the media, the 'Kick' star said, "Me and Nawazuddin Siddiqui (co-star) had to work according to the child actress and both of us had to go according to the innocence of the girl and that innocence reflected in their characters in the movie."

The 'Indo -Pak' themed movie has been released in 4500 screens in the domestic domain and 800 across the globe and depicts 'bhaijaan' helping a deaf and mute girl to reach her home in Pakistan.
