No alcohol, only tea for One Direction members

London: Members of British band One Direction have decided to shun alcohol and instead have peppermint tea during their performances.

The five-member band, consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, wants tea bags in their dressing room when they perform here at Manchester, reports manchestereveningnews.co.uk. "The lads and their management team have specifically asked to keep their dressing room low-key before the shows and requested tea in there rather than booze," a source said. Tea brand Higher Living has offered their services to the band and their spokesperson confirmed the news. "The lads are so committed to their fans that they don`t want anything to spoil the show and won`t leave anything to chance. We hope the emergency tea kits will give them peace of mind to perform their best set yet," the spokesperson said. IANS
