વડોદરા જિલ્લા પંચાયતમાં કોંગ્રેસે સત્તા જાળવી
વડોદરા જિલ્લા પંચાયતમાં પ્રમુખ ઉપપ્રમુખની ચૂંટણીમાં કોગ્રેસના ત્રણ સભ્યો ઈલા ચૌહાણ, માયા જોષી અને અંબાલાલ દેલવાડએ બળવો કર્યો. જેમાં કોગ્રેસના બળવાખોર ઈલા ચૌહાણે ભાજપના ટેકાથી પ્રમુખ પદ માટે ફોર્મ ભર્યું. પરંતુ કોગ્રેસના બાકીના 19 સભ્યો મકકમ રહેતા ચૂંટણીમાં કોગ્રેસના પ્રમુખ ઉમેદવાર પન્નાબેન ભટ્ટ અને ઉપપ્રમુખ ઉમેદવાર મુબારક પટેલની જીત થઈ હતી.
